The International Ticketing FAQ

When is The International 2016?

The Main Event will take place at KeyArena in Seattle over 6 days, from Monday August 8th through Saturday August 13th.

How can I buy a ticket to The International?

Sorry, Finals and Midweek tickets to The International are sold out. However, we will be releasing a limited number of daily tickets to The International for Monday, August 8 – Thursday, August 11 only. Daily tickets will cost $25 each and will be released each morning starting at 7:00 a.m. Monday and 8:00 a.m. Tuesday - Thursday at the KeyArena West Box Office. These tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are not available Friday and Saturday.

Additionally, we are once again inviting fans to come watch the live action outdoors with other Dota fans on the lawns next to KeyArena. Every day of the Main Event we will have a huge LED screen on Fisher Lawn, open and free to any fans who want to be a part of the biggest Dota event of the year. On Friday and Saturday we will add another screen on the Fountain Lawn, and we encourage all midweek attendees to stay and enjoy the Grand Finals mere steps from the packed arena.

What is the difference between a Midweek and a Finals Ticket?

Midweek Tickets—available for $75—will allow access to KeyArena for the first four days of the event August 8th - 11th. Finals Tickets—available for $100—will allow access to KeyArena for the final two days of the event August 12th – 13th. Both tickets can be purchased in a single order.

For fans with only the Midweek ticket, we're also providing a free large outdoor viewing area on the KeyArena grounds where you'll be able to watch the final two days.

How can I receive unique in-game item drops on my Steam account?

As a special bonus to fans attending the event, we will be dropping unique in-game items to audience members inside of the arena. At First Blood in each individual game, 500 exclusive Attendee Treasures will drop, each containing visually-unique versions of this year's Secret Shop Immortals. To be eligible, you must have a badge linked to a Steam account and be in the arena when First Blood occurs.

How do I link my badge to my SteamID?

Go here to link your badge to your SteamID, or visit one of the two badge binding stations available on the main concourse inside KeyArena. Linking your badge will allow you to be eligible for unique in-game item drops and other event activities.

How many tickets can I buy?

Ticket purchases are limited to 5 of each type per household.

Can I sit anywhere, or will there be preassigned seats?

There are no assigned seats. You will be able to sit in any available seat.
