This heal ability also does damage to nearby heroes, if timed correctly, you can hit two birds with one stone. Purification can be used for necessary flash-farming for a key item you need, but also useful to heal or save allies; or provide burst damage if they are near a ganked enemy. Farm with this ability.
Guardian Angel gives physical immunity, not magical, so spells can still stun and hurt your team for a lot. However, this is ideal halfway into a fight when spells have been casted or to prevent the physical carry from auto-attacking your team.
This ability occurs on you and your ally, so target an ally throughout a fight to rid them of dispels but also to buff yourself. It comboes well with Hammer of Purity so follow-through after Heavenly Grace is casted. During the laning stage, this ability can keep you regenerating against heavy harassment and disables.
This is your initiating and major damage-dealing ability that scales with your primary attribute (strength). Once you cast Heavenly Grace before a fight, follow-through with Hammer of Purity for even higher damage. Works great as an initiating ability as the slow and extra damage is heavy for a low mana-cost.

Early (Regen at Lotus Pool)

Opt for Magic Stick early if the enemy spam a lot of spells or you’ll be in the lane significantly. Magic Wand can be bought as early as before Boots of Speed or as late as after your core Boots upgrade depending on how the enemy and their spell usage. Magic Wand can also be bought to make room for other items due to limited space.
Phase Boots gives you the survivability to live in the lane while also increasing your damage to help last hits. To add, it helps with closing the gap when you dont have Blink yet to initiate. With Phase Boots, you can rush up to enemies and cast Purification to guarantee it lands and damages them.

Core (Required, in order)

Utilize Blink Dagger to get in the faces of your opponents to nuke with Purification and Hammer of Purity and follow-through on your physical attack damage.
With Aghs Shard, you now have two Hammer of Purity. One by your auto-attack and you can still cast Hammer of Purity, giving you massively nuking power.

Situation (only if needed)

Soul Ring provides an infinite amount of mana of which you can then use to Purification yourself and wipe nearby creeps.
Hand of Midas for a hero like Omniknight makes sense due to his low attack speed, slow farming nature and necessity for medium-to-large items.
Heavens Halberd provides more survivability through evasion. To add, it also increases your life-steal/regeneration, reduces stuns and can disable foes. Use before your opponents pops their BKB as the Disarm will pursue even after.
Rely on Harpoon as either your initiating ability to get enemies close or to keep them in-range should they find a way to escape. Heads-up that it pulls both you and the target and you must select the target so no skills required to Harpoon enemies.
Sneak into your enemies just like SirActionSlacks snuck into our hearts. Become a surprise threat against the enemy team just like that overpaid buffoon we all love to see a part of ourselves minus any sense of shame or integrity.

Extension (choice, Any order)

Shiva's Guard is a great defensive item to increase your armor while also staving off strong physical carries wtih your nuke aura. Against tanky enemies, this item is also recommended to reduce their sustainability through regeneration or lifesteal.

Moon Shard won't save your horrible attack speed, but it can be great to share with your friends and ingest yourself in order to provide an inkling of improvement.
Echo Sabre combined with Hammer of Purity can extend the slow on enemies for an incredibly long time. Furthermore, the mana from Echo Sabre is appreciated to help you be able to cast your spells when farming. Dont forget to consider disassembling this to make Black King Bar, Bloodthorn or to keep it to make Harpoon
Eul's Scepter of Divinity has a variety of uses, on top of its much desired mana regen and movement speed: 1. Purge key enemy effects that prevent you from taking them down 2. Preserve yourself long enough to pull off another Purification 3. Taunt like no tomorrow
Radiance doubles-down on your presence to burn enemies' soul - just like for every audience member who has to sit and watch every SirActionSlacks segment during an event just like that one Monty Python sketch you don't quite get.
Octarine Core will allow you to heal more, repel more and regenerate any health you've lost if you got Radiance. It's a great item but difficult to reach (as you have already won the game by now).
Orb of Venom, mixed with your Degen aura is a powerful combination of obnoxious slows.
Omniknight has great abilities but flawed with short-range. The Aether Lens remedies that. Disassemble your Arcane Boots to make Aether Lens.
Omniknight is incredible tanky and due to the range of his abilities, he is always near fights. This makes him an ideal Guardian Greaves holder.
Improve team-fights and pushing power with Vladmir's Offering. Magnus is a great holder of auras given his ability to maneuver and stay in and out of fights when necessary.
Pipe of Insight provides your team with better sustainability against tough magic casters and carries that can wipe your team up incredibly fast if they're frail to magic types.
The value of Solar Crest comes from its movement speed and its dual usage depending on the situation: either to impart some of your armor to help an ally attack faster and survive physical damage OR to reduce an enemys armor to utilize your physical damage or spells for further effect. The mana regen from Solar Crest is just enough to help you spam spells when farming or ganking.
The value of Lotus Orb is both its stats in mana and armor but also the ability to dispel slows and silences that would be keeping you down. Furthermore, the ability to cast back big nuking abilities to your enemies has tremendous value, especially against stuns or ultimate damaging abilities.
Aghanims Scepter is one of the best items for Omniknight. It removes any fear of not being in-range to save your allies and works for an extended period of time.
Glimmer Cape is situationally useful for Omniknight; either to reposition and/or to use on allies who get caught out (in addition to Repel. The magic resistance is appreciated and the attack speed is decent on Omniknight. Use this on allies to prevent them from being targeted or getting killed.
Force Staff is a good way to improve your positioning when a foe is either fleeing (so Force Staff to get near enough for Degen Aura) or to pull back if you are losing the fight and need to gain distance.
Orb of Corrosion provides a bit more health and combines an early-game slow with minor armor debuff allowing you to force yourself against enemies who have no real escape. Works especially well against enemies who are fragile but hit hard, providing you more survivability and a great slow to keep the enemies within your range.
Sange and Yasha as an alternative to Manta Style comes online earlier and provides a lot more survivability for the hero. The status resistance from Sange means stuns and disables duration are reduced.
Eye of Skadi slows enemies but also reduces their regen. Especially useful versus high health and regenerative enemies where you need to cripple their survivability from lifesteals and healing.
The value in Bloodthorn is both its increase in massive attack speed but also in disabling your opponent, making them unable to cast their abilities. Any physical attacks you and your allies do will be count as critical, allowing you tear them down relatively quickly before the duration of Bloodthorn ends! Bloodthorn also has True Strike meaning all your attacks will land during its Active component.
Assault Cuirass provides the necessary attack speed for Omniknight while also reducing the armor of your foes so theyll take more of your high damage physical attack. Its a great aura item for a hero that stays present in fights.
The value in Bloodthorn is both its increase in attack speed but also in disabling your opponent, making them unable to cast their abilities. Any physical attacks you and your allies do causes additional damage to be amplified. This allows you tear foes down relatively quickly before the duration of Bloodthorn ends!
