The Main Event will take place at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China over six days, from Tuesday, August 20th through Sunday, August 25th China Standard Time

How can I buy a ticket to The International?

For Chinese Dota Fans with an Early Access Code, tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 24th at 12PM (China Standard Time) via Damai.cn.

If you do not have an Early Access Code, you will be able to purchase tickets via Damai.cn at 1:15PM CST. We recommend that you prepare your Damai account and log in before tickets go on sale to help ensure a smooth purchasing experience.

How do I get an Early Access Code and where can I find it?

If you own the Battlepass and/or are a Dota Plus member with subscriptions active as of 6:00 AM Tuesday May 21st China Standard Time, you will find your Early Access Code in the Dota 2 client.

How often can a code be used?

Since Damai does not support a shopping cart feature, different ticket bundles cannot be purchased together and require separate transactions. Your code can be used for a total of 3 transactions (with a maximum of 2 tickets for a single bundle each transaction).

What type of tickets are available?

Tuesday/Wednesday ticket bundle—available for CNY 499. Thursday/Friday ticket bundle – available for CNY 499. Saturday/Sunday ticket bundle—available for CNY 2099.

How many tickets can I buy?

Purchases are limited to 2 tickets of one ticket bundle per transaction.

Can I sit anywhere, or will there be preassigned seats?

There will assigned seats which you will get once you receive your ticket.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

Purchases via Damai are not refundable.

How do I purchase a VIP ticket?

There is no VIP program this year.

I bought a ticket - how do i pick it up?

You have the choice between getting tickets mailed to you to the shipping address you provide to Damai at time of purchase or to pick them up at the Will Call stations on the plaza on the west side of Mercedes-Benz Arena during the dates and times listed below. Please have your government issued ID with you for pickup.

How can I buy a ticket to The International?

For Dota fans with an Early Access Code, tickets will go on sale Friday, May 24th at 9:00 PM China Standard Time/6:00 AM Pacific Time via Universe.com.

If you do not have an Early Access Code, you will be able to purchase tickets via Universe.com on Friday, May 24th at 10:00 PM China Standard Time/7:00 AM Pacific Time via Universe.

How do I get an Early Access Code and where can I find it?

If you own the Battlepass and/or are a Dota Plus member with subscriptions active as of 3:00 PM Monday May 20th Pacific Time, you will find your Early Access Code in the Dota 2 client.

How often can a code be used?

Each code can be used for 1 transaction (with a maximum of 5 tickets for each ticket bundle).

What type of tickets are available?

Tuesday/Wednesday ticket bundle—available for $70 USD. Thursday/Friday ticket bundle – available for $70 USD. Saturday/Sunday ticket bundle—available for $300 USD.

How many tickets can I buy?

Ticket purchases are limited to 5 per ticket bundle.

Can I sit anywhere, or will there be preassigned seats?

There will be assigned seats which you will get once you receive your ticket. Unfortunately, you cannot select your seats for this event, however you will be able to choose between upper and lower bowl.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

Yes. Refunds will be available until 60 days before the event.

How do I purchase a VIP ticket?

There is no VIP program this year.

I bought a ticket - how do I pick it up?

Will Call for all orders outside of China will be available for pick up at the Will Call stations on the plaza on the west side of Mercedes-Benz Arena during the dates and times listed below. Please have your passport with you for pickup.

Visitor Visas

As a courtesy, we would like to remind any attendees traveling to China to give yourselves plenty of time to obtain visitor visas, if needed. Not sure if you need a visa? Check with your local Chinese Consulate.
